Welcome to Pediatric Dental Care

About Us

We are a team of board-certified pediatric dental specialists committed to providing the highest level of care in the most compassionate way possible. With three experienced doctors, an in-house dental anesthesiologist available five days a week, and a state-of-the-art jungle-themed facility designed entirely for children, we have built a practice where every child — regardless of their needs or temperament — can receive the safe, comfortable, expert care they deserve. We are proud to be the pediatric dental team that families across Pennsylvania trust most.

Board-certified expertise. Compassionate care.

Dr. Bob

Dr. Robert Kilareski knew he wanted to be a pediatric dentist by the third grade, and the story behind that decision is one that still makes him smile. As a child who needed a lot of dental treatment himself, he grew to love going to the dentist, and he credits that early experience with planting the seed for his entire career. In a full-circle moment that says everything about his dedication to this community, Dr. Bob grew up right here in State College and was once a patient at this very practice.

Dr. Bob graduated from State College High School in 1991 before earning his D.D.S. from Northwestern University Dental School. He went on to complete his pediatric residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Schneider Children's Hospital in Queens, New York, where he was honored as Chief Resident of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the highest level of certification in his specialty, and brings over 26 years of dedicated experience to every patient he sees.

Dr. Bob is especially passionate about providing comprehensive care and working with children who have special needs. He genuinely loves being in a position to help people, and that heart for service shows in every aspect of the care he provides.

When he is not in the office, you will find him spending time with his family, hiking, traveling, exercising, or cooking up something good in the kitchen.

Dedicated to your child's smile

Dr. Matt

Dr. Matthew Kremser grew up in a military family, moving frequently before finally putting down roots in State College in 1993. He graduated from State College Area High School in 1996, and his connection to this community runs deep, which is a big part of why he is so passionate about the families he serves here.

He earned his D.M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, where he developed the clinical foundation that has shaped his 20 year career.

Dr. Matt is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has been recognized as a leader in his field beyond the walls of our practice. In 2016, he was elected to the executive board of the Pennsylvania Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and accepted an invitation to serve on the Geisinger Health Plan Dental Advisory Board, two distinctions that reflect his commitment to advancing pediatric dental care across the state.

Outside the office, Dr. Matt is happiest in the outdoors: archery hunting, fly-fishing, camping, and hiking. He also accompanies dental mission trips to the Dominican Republic, bringing quality care to underserved communities abroad. He is married to his wife Meghan and is the proud father of daughter Jillian and son Benjamin.

Skilled, gentle, and passionate about pediatric dentistry

Dr. Chase

Dr. Chase Ellis's path to pediatric dentistry is one of the most unique you will ever hear. Originally from North Carolina, he began his career in the world of sports, working as a statistics intern with the Philadelphia 76ers and as a college basketball coach. It was a summer spent working with an underserved pediatric population in Baltimore, Maryland that changed everything. That experience lit a fire in him, and he never looked back.

Dr. Chase holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina, as well as an MBA and M.S. in Sports Management. He went on to earn his D.D.S. from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and completed his pediatric residency at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, where he was selected as Chief Resident of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and brings over 7 years of focused pediatric expertise to our team.

What drives Dr. Chase most is helping an anxious child have a successful appointment and rebuilding a happy, healthy smile.

When he is not caring for patients, he enjoys CrossFit, crafting resin river boards and tables, building Legos, and traveling.

Our  dedicated dental anesthesiologist

Dr. Kevin Dincher

As a central Pennsylvania native, Dr. Kevin has lived in State College for the past ten years. His training included dental school at the University of Pittsburgh with specialty training in dental anesthesiology at Stony Brook University Hospital for his residency.

Dr. Kevin has long held a passion for pediatrics and has primarily focused his practice on providing anesthesia services for children and adults with special needs.

When not spending time with his wife and five young children, Dr. Kevin enjoys the outdoors with hiking, hunting, fishing and attending Penn State sporting events with his sons.

Friendly faces, dedicated to growing smiles

A team with heart and experience

At Pediatric Dental Care, there is always someone ready to welcome your child with warmth and make your family feel right at home. From our appointment coordinators to our dental assistants, every member of our team shares the same commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Your first visit, made easy

What to expect

We know that coming to a new dental office for the first time can feel uncertain for both parents and children. That is why we have designed every aspect of your visit to be as smooth, welcoming, and stress-free as possible.

Patient Experience

From the moment you walk into our jungle-themed facility, you will find a team that is genuinely excited to meet your family and ready to make your child feel comfortable and at ease. Our doctors take the time to understand each child as an individual before recommending any treatment, because we believe the best care is always the most personalized care.

What To Bring

Please bring the following items to your child's first appointment:

Completed new patient forms (paper or digital — both are available)

Dental insurance card(s)

A list of any current medications your child takes

Any relevant medical or dental records from previous providers

A parent or legal guardian must be present.

*Please note that all appointment scheduling and clinical conversations must take place with the child's biological or custodial parent or guardian.

A dental experience your child will actually look forward to

We designed our facility from the ground up with one goal in mind: making every child feel safe, comfortable, and maybe even a little excited to be at the dentist. Our 32,000 sq. ft. building houses a 14,000 sq. ft. pediatric dental office that is unlike anything else in the region, built specifically for the needs of young patients and the families who bring them. From the moment you walk through our doors, you will know this place was made for kids.

A space designed for little adventurers

Our jungle-themed office brings the spirit of adventure into every corner of the practice — giving children something to look forward to the moment they arrive. We believe that a child who feels comfortable in their environment is a child who is ready to receive great care, and every detail of our space has been designed with that in mind.

Jungle-themed treehouse play area

Our signature treehouse play area transforms the waiting room into an adventure, giving kids a fun and engaging place to explore before their appointment. It is designed to ease first-visit nerves and help children associate our office with excitement rather than anxiety, making every return visit that much easier.

TVs and games throughout the office

From the waiting area to the treatment rooms, TVs and games are available to keep young patients entertained and distracted in the best possible way. Familiar entertainment helps children stay calm and relaxed throughout their visit, making it easier for our team to provide thorough, gentle care.

Dedicated parent waiting lounge

While your child is being cared for, our comfortable parent waiting lounge gives you a quiet, relaxed space to settle in. We want the visit to be a positive experience for the whole family, and that includes making sure parents feel at ease too.

Advanced capabilities that set us apart

We're equipped with the clinical capabilities to handle the full spectrum of pediatric dental needs, including complex cases that other practices in the region are simply not able to manage in-house. Our investment in advanced tools and technology means fewer referrals, fewer trips to outside facilities, and a higher standard of care for every child we serve.

In-house general anesthesia & sedation options

With a dental anesthesiologist on-site five days a week, we are able to provide general anesthesia right here in our office, no hospital visit, no outside surgical center, no unnecessary complexity. This capability is unique in the region and allows us to deliver quality care for children who need a higher level of sedation support.

We also offer laughing gas (nitrous oxide), moderate conscious/"twilight" sedation, and IV/general anesthesia to ensure every child can receive the care they need in the most comfortable way possible.

We can't wait to meet your family.
